Trans Therapy Group

The Trans Therapy Group is an 8-week closed therapy group for students identifying as transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, gender-queer or for those who may be questioning their gender identity. The group explores topics related to coming out, transphobia, transitioning, dysphoria, identity, coping with mental health concerns, relationships, and building community.

Happiness Group

This four event program explores the 12 practices of happy. Participants will learn about current research on the topic, as well as tangible steps that can be taken to increase happiness levels, all while making new friends and enjoying fun activities. Participants are required to attend all four events. Sign up is required.

Surviving Sexual Trauma Group

The Surviving Sexual Trauma Group is an 8-week closed therapy group for survivors of rape, sexual assault, and adult survivors of child sexual abuse.

Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation

The purpose of this 8-week group is to help students establish familiarity with the principles of mindfulness and develop a solid foundation of mindfulness practice in their own lives. The group is geared towards beginners new to mindfulness, and contains both lectures and experiential exercises. Topics include: mindfulness basics, historical roots, new research, mindfulness of breathing, emotion regulation and distress tolerance, the "Beginner's Mind", mindful relationships, acceptance, and mindfulness at school. Each session is 50 minutes long. Students may choose to attend any number of sessions; no RSVP is required to attend.
