There are several events that First@Goucher students can attend. 

• How to find cheap books, get around Maryland (public transportation, Baltimore college town shuttles. Cheap books, travel (college town shuttle, bus resources) , pay for things (scholarship/grant resources, on campus jobs, off campus job resources)
• First Friday’s
• Weekly study sessions
• Financial Workshop: How to manage your finances in college. Minimize loan debt.
• School, work life balance. The importance of balancing studying, classes, and your social life.
• A joint workshop with the Career Education Office. How to write a resume, mock interviews, and how to dress for success.
• November 8, 2019 is the day to celebrate first-generational students.
