International Student Reception
The reception is an opportunity to honor Goucher’s international students and students who strongly identify as having an international background.

International students and students who strongly identify as having an international background have made Goucher home for a number of years. The Center for Race, Equity, and Identity began honoring these students with a senior reception in the spring of 2019.
We recognize how far students have traveled both geographically as well as culturally to be successful at Goucher and want to don you with an international graduation cord. If you are an international student in F-1 status, another nonimmigrant visa holder, dual citizen, immigrant, or Third Culture Kid, you are welcome to participate and receive a cord that can be worn at graduation to honor your international background. Exchange students may also participate to give closure to their experience.
