Connecting with Goucher Alumni & Parents
Goucher alumni are eager to assist students in learning about careers and expanding their network. The CEO runs several programs throughout the year to bring students and alumni together. Not sure how to get started? Consider stopping by a Coffee Chat or make an appointment to meet with a career counselor.
Coffee Chats are informal gatherings to connect with alums over coffee and doughnuts. Come and go as your schedule allows and ask questions about life after Goucher, career choices, living in the working world, and everything in between. There’s nothing to prepare just show up and have some doughnuts! Come as you are, leave when you need to, no pressure!
Take a Gopher to Work Day
Take a Gopher to Work Day is a one-day event where a student has the opportunity to observe and gain experience of the role of an alumna/us or parent, while gaining insight into that particular industry. It can also be used to provide a student the opportunity to learn about jobs outside of their current consideration, or determine potential career opportunities.
Registration for the January session is now closed. Future opportunities will be updated here.
