Goucher College Archives

Records in the Goucher College Archives document the growth and development of the College, including its physical plant and grounds, curriculum and research, relationship with the local community, and the activities of its student body, faculty, and alumnae/i. The archives include official records, publications, reports, student and faculty papers, photographs, audiovisual materials, architectural drawings and blueprints, art, and artifacts that document the institution’s rich history.  Please contact Contact  Special Collections Librarian and College Archivist Tara Olivero (410-337-6347) for specific information about the archives’ holdings.

In 2008, Goucher participated in a PALINET Project to digitize rare or unique items.  As a result, two histories of Goucher are now available online through Internet Archive.

The History of Goucher College by Anna Heubeck Knipp and Thaddeus P. Thomas
The History of Goucher College, 1930-1985 by Frederic O. Musser
