Dates, Contracts and Fees
Limited summer housing is available on-campus between the dates of Sunday, May 31 and Saturday August 1st, 2009. The location of summer housing will be in Sondheim House. The summer residence fee will be $700; this cost does not include meals. Only those students who have paid summer housing fees in full will be considered for summer housing. Summer residence fees are not prorated for shorter terms of residency. Any current Goucher student registered for the fall semester may apply for summer housing, although priority is given to those students enrolled in internships, involved in research, or working on campus. Those not falling into one of these categories should return their completed application and payment. They will be considered for summer housing as space permits. All students who are approved for summer housing will be notified on May 8th. Students will be able to elect their prefered roommates for summer residence on their housing application.

Applications for summer housing are no longer available on this website. Any student that wishes to secure summer housing should fill out the Summer Housing Waitlist Application as soon as possible. Students who are on the Summer Housing Waitlist will be notified of their status after May 8th.
Summer Housing Waitlist Application
You must have appropriate contact information on your application to document your summer commitments prior to submitting your application. We cannot guarantee space for any individual or for any particular commitment. We will continue to accept applicants until summer housing is full and we will begin a wait list beyond this point. Summer Housing is available to students that are employed by the college during the summer or have a CDO approved intership in the Baltimore area.The dates for Summer Housing are Sunday May 31st, 2009 thru Saturday August 1st, 2009. Summer Housing Policies
Summer residents are expected to abide by the conditions of the residence hall contract, and the policies presented in Living on Campus: A Handbook for Residential Living, the Campus Handbook, and other relevant college documents. The resident’s current residence hall contract is extended through the summer session. Additionally, during the intersession period, overnight guests are not permitted for security reasons. Violations of a major or minor nature could result in immediate removal from summer housing.
