The Theatre Minor

The theatre minor is designed to give students the opportunity to experience all facets of theatre study while allowing some flexibility for more in-depth study in one area. Students pursuing a minor in theatre are required to take Theatre 101 or 102; 120 or 220; and 140. One course is then selected from Theatre 205, 220, 228, 231, 240, and 241, and one course from 200, 211, and 215. One additional elective may be selected from appropriate courses in theatre, art, communication, dance, English, and music or by arrangement with the advisor. The two-semester Senior Project in Theatre (Theatre 390/391) serves as a capstone experience for theatre majors and minors.
