Support Services

The premedical program supplies a wide variety of support services to help you become a competitive applicant to professional school.

• Advising with regard to academic schedule.
• Advising with regard to where and when to apply to medical school.
• Provide a letter of recommendation to professional schools. This letter is required by the schools and is a major part of your application.
• Sponsor lectures and seminars each year concerning various careers in the health professions. These talks often include representatives from the admissions committees of public and private medical schools.
• Provide help navigating the MCAt registration process and the AAMCAS application service. 
• Provide an in-house review course for the MCAT at no charge.
• Provide essay writing workshops for the AMCAS personal statement and the essay section of the MCAT.
