Asian Student Association

The purpose of the Asian Student Association (ASA) is to provide the Goucher community with the opportunity to explore Asian cultures and traditions. Aside from cultural activities, ASA is responsible for lectures, discussions and activities that serve to facilitate learning and awareness about the Asian community in the United States and abroad. More importantly, ASA serves as an umbrella organization for students who identify as Asian American, East Asian, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, South Asian, and Southeast Asian. ASA realizes that all the communities mentioned are unique in their own way and that ASA only serves as a starting point to explore these communities and identities further.
