Goucher is about an hour by car from Annapolis and Washington, DC; about an hour by train from Philadelphia, and about three hours by train from New York City.

Jujitsu Club

The Jujitsu club teaches and promotes the marital art of jujitsu teaching self-defense and offense. Linear fighting (punches, blocks, kicks and grappling) is emphasized. Jujitsu also instills in its members focus and self-discipline. The club meets for instruction weekly in the multipurpose room of the Sports and Recreation Center.
