Goucher Christian Fellowship

Goucher Christian Fellowship is affiliated with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, a national organization dedicated to building collegiate fellowships, developing disciples of Christ, and reaching the campus and all its ethnic diversity with the news of Jesus Christ. Goucher Christian Fellowship hosts weekly large group meetings that consist of praise, prayer, Bible study, speakers, fellowship, and fun. Anyone who is interested in learning about God and growing in faith is welcome. Weekly small group Bible studies are available at different times in the week so all those who are interested can attend. Prayer meetings offer a refuge during hectic college days. Those who attend prayer group pray for each other, for the group, and for the campus. Prayer requests are welcome and can be campus mailed to Goucher Christian Fellowship or given to any member. Goucher Christian Fellowship also recognizes the importance of belonging to a local church. Members attend a variety of churches in the area and would be glad to help those individuals in the search for a church home.

         Micah 6:8 - He has shown all you people what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Club News/Updates
First Breakaway of the Year - September 2nd
Come to the Heubeck Patio for delicious S'mores courtesy of GCF! Starting at 8pm, bring your friends, neighbors, and classmates for a night of fun, fellowship, and gooey marshmallows!

Small Groups
Small group meetings are a significant focus at GCF, because they encourage a socially intimate situation for people, in which they can explore, study, and discuss the Word of God as a shared, as well as personal, experience. They are intended to help meet the needs of fellowship and engagement with the Scripture. More specific information about small groups are TBA.

Large Group
Breakaway is the large group meeting consisting of praise, prayer, speakers, fellowship, and fun. Breakaway is a time for everyone to gather together to praise Jesus. In the past we have had speakers, coffeehouses, discussions, creative worship, service nights, and much more! This year we are planning on reading through Nehemiah. These meetings are meant to be a time to reflect on God's word and His place in our lives, as well to renew our sense of community and our joint mission of spreading Jesus to our campus and community. We will also spend some time worshipping together. Breakaway is held on Wednesday nights at 8:00pm in the Heubeck Lounge (across from  Heubeck Dining Hall).
