Earthworks

Earthworks is a student run club aimed at making Goucher an environmentally friendly campus through education and activities. Recently, Earthworks has put together programs and forums on alternative energy sources and energy conservation. Earthworks members also bo periodic clean-ups of Goucher campus, and have been involved in the Clean Stream Project in the Baltimore area. Earthworks has recently revamped the recycling program at Goucher, making it easier and more efficient for students, faculty and staff to recycle. Through grants and petitions we purchased over $6,000 worth of new recycling bins that are placed around campus. We are also attempting to install a new food composting program for Stimson Dining hall.
