Goucher Democrats

The Goucher Democrats are an organization looking to further democratic ideals through campus and community involvement. The Dems believe in equality of opportunity, especially in education; we believe in healthcare for all, workers’, women’s and minority rights, and we fight for a plethora of other issues highlighted by the Democratic Party nationwide. Our activities vary; we engage in everything from small-scale literature drops, to voter registration drives, to large scale campaigns, and this is a great place to become politically active. We hold bi-weekly meetings, and there are always new opportunities and ways to get involved. The heart of the Democratic Party is its young activists, so if this is for you, come join!
