Computing Facilities

The Goucher community has access to computing resources twenty-four hours a day.

Computer labs can be:
**Shared spaces
**Primarily for classes
**Designed for independent work
**Designed to serve more than one function

The Julia Rogers Library contains several distinctive computing environments: first floor reference area; Robertson research wing and computer commons; library classroom; CTLT; second floor study area; and, the digital arts classroom. These facilities are available 24/7 during Fall and Spring semesters.

Classroom computing labs are located in the Library, Van Meter Hall, Meyerhoff Arts Center, and the Hoffberger science building. These labs have Windows and Macintosh machines, scanners, and printers. The facilities are available for individual work when classes are not scheduled in them. Schedules are posted outside the labs so that users can plan ahead. Instructors may reserve these spaces through the Registrar's office.
