Campus Manager Safe Computing Environment for Spring 2006

Release date: December 15, 2005 |

When you return for the Spring 2006 semester, you will need to register your computer with Campus Manager in order to connect your computer to the campus network and the Internet. The Campus Manager "Safe Computing" environment was implemented so that all residential student computers will have the proper software installed to combat viruses and spyware. When you register in the Spring, your computer will be checked to ensure that you have the latest Windows operating system updates and that you have McAfee Anti-Virus and Microsoft AntiSpyware software installed and running on your computer.

Remember, computers with the following operating systems should not be brought to campus for Spring 2006 since they will not be able to connect to the Campus Manager "Safe Computing" environment: Windows 98, Windows 95, Windows ME, Windows NT, and Windows for Workgroups 3.11.
