With God on Our Side: From Rivalry to Reconciliation (radio program)

Goucher President Sanford J. Ungar recently hosted “With God on Our Side: From Rivalry to Reconciliation.” Presented by the Institute for Christian and Jewish Studies, the radio program examines the roots of hatred in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, and considers whether people of faith can ever reconcile the differences that divide them. Public Radio Exchange, the primary source for radio stations around the world to access independent radio programs, gave the program a five-star rating, and listed it as a featured choice for January programming.

During the hour-long program, Ungar speaks with religious leaders and laypeople alike, explores Christianity, Judaism, and Islam by talking with members of each faith, and moderates a panel of clergy who discuss contemporary society’s potential for nurturing the growth of spiritually alive pluralists.

“With God on Our Side: From Rivalry to Reconciliation” was produced by Richard Paul and Carol Beach. The program is distributed by Public Radio International, and has aired on dozens of stations around the country.
