The Department of Chemistry

The real strength of the Goucher College Chemistry Department lies in the spirit in which chemistry is done here.  This spirit becomes manifest in small classes, student-faculty research endeavors, students assisting other students, informal student-faculty interactions and general departmental camaraderie.  Moreover, alumnae/i who faithfully return to the annual Chemistry Club Banquet confirm that it represents a unique and valuable part of department life.  It is the hope of the entire department that future graduates will agree and remember the department with pride, warmth, and loyalty.
