Make This Summer Count -- At Goucher!

February 15, 2010 |

You’re probably already thinking about what this summer has in store for you.  Planning road trips, finding summer jobs, organizing backyard barbeques, and…

…deciding to take a summer class.

That’s right – Goucher is offering a selection of summer courses this year.

And before you start worrying that you won’t be able to get in all the things you’ve planned – relax.  Goucher’s summer session only runs from June 1 to June 30.

So, as you start thinking about summer break, consider taking a class in a third of the time of a regular semester (4 weeks vs. 15 weeks), exploring a subject you couldn’t fit in the regular semester, getting a requirement out of the way so you can focus on your major-specific courses in the fall – all with plenty of time left over for summer activities.

Registration for summer courses will begin March 1, 2010, and you need to register by March 31, 2010. Tuition is reduced to $450 per credit, and limited on-campus housing will be available.

Visit www.goucher.edu/summercourses to see which courses are being offered, what times they meet, and which faculty teaching them.
