Meal Plan/Dining Dollars Accounts
At the beginning of each semester, every undergraduate resident student purchases a block meal plan, including a preset number of meals and dining dollars. This information is stored on your OneCard, which you can use at the Pearlstone cafeteria, Heubeck and Stimson dining halls. Please note that you can make changes to this account only through Records & Registration during the first two weeks of the semester, and the plan expires at the end of the designated semester.
Goucher Bucks Account
Gopher Bucks is an account into which you can deposit any discretionary funds you might want to use to buy books, supplies, snacks, and other things not covered under your meal plan. A list of typical expenditures follows. You can deposit any amount of money into your account from $1 up, but we've found that approximately $1,250 covers most students' Gopher Bucks purchases for one semester, so that's what we recommend starting with.

Residence Halls
Every residence hall on campus is equipped with a OneCard access reader. Students use their OneCards to gain entry to their residence hall 24 hours a day.
Academic Buildings
The academic buildings on campus are equipped with OneCard access readers. If your classes require it, your OneCard will be set up to allow you after-hour access to these building.
The Goucher OneCard contains your student library bar code on the back of the card above the magnetic strip.
Since August of 2004 there is no longer an individual charge for resident students to do laundry. The cost of laundry is built into the resident students room fee. Resident students receive 72 total laundry transactions (wash/dry) per semester. You will only need to swipe your OneCard at the laundry reader to enable the machines. Additional laundry transactions can be purchased from Student Administrative Services (SAS).
Non-residents will be required to use coins to enable the machines.
