At Goucher College we believe that in the global community of the 21st century, no matter who you are or what you want to do in your life, you’re going to need a global perspective.
So it won’t surprise you to know that in the fall of 2006, we became the first national liberal arts college in the nation to require all of our undergraduates to study abroad at least once before graduation.
At Goucher we value the connection made between the classroom and real-world experience. We believe that by studying abroad you’ll explore different ways of thinking, communicating, working, learning and living. And to make this easier, we offer each student a voucher of at least $1,200 to help cover travel expenses.
Take a look around these pages to find out more. We've got a list of frequently asked questions about our requirement and a full menu of current study-abroad opportunities.
And when you're ready to start thinking about going global yourself, it's easy to contact us.

| Goucher Passport Series When Goucher students come back from studying abroad, they have some really great stories to tell. The thing is, members of the broader Goucher community don't always get a chance to hear those stories. Click here to read more about the Passport Series. |
