Elephant Engine High Dive Revival

Goucher College presents a performance by the Elephant Engine High Dive Revival, a dynamic group of four poets, on Wednesday, October 14, at 9 p.m. in the Hyman Forum of the Athenaeum.

The performance is open to the public; admittance is free for Goucher community members and $5 for off-campus attendants.

The Elephant Engine High Dive Revival will feature:

  • Derrick Brown, an opening artist for the White Stripes and Cold War Kids
  • Shira Erlichman, a Pushcart Prize nominee and two-time national poetry slam finalist.
  • Anis Mojgani, a two-time national poetry slam individual championship winner
  • Buddy Wakefield, an individual world poetry slam champion
 

The performers draw enthusiastic crowds and have appeared on The Tonight Show, at the Def Poetry Jam, and on National Public Radio.

This event is sponsored by the Student Government Association, enGage: Student Programming Board, and Multicultural Student Services.
