Scheduling Rooms for Film Viewing Policy

In order to comply with the Copyright Revision Act of 1976, library rooms may be scheduled for a group film viewing only in connection with face-to-face teaching activities, with the professor present. For a fuller discussion of this issue, please see http://www.ala.org/ala/professionalresources/libfactsheets/alalibraryfactsheet07.cfm

Please see Important Notice About the VHS Video Format for more information about VHS viewing on campus.

Please see the Room Scheduling Blog for a complete list of campus classrooms with VCRs.

Library Carrels

The carrels on Stack Levels 2 and 4-they are individually labeled-are available for students to rent for the semester or year.  Each carrel is paired with a locker placed nearby in the stacks, in which the student may place signed-out library books, text books, notebooks, and other study supplies.  The rental fee is $10 for the year, $5 of which is returned to the student upon the return of our padlock.  Please see Randalynn Kennedy in the Library Administration Office (in Periodicals) if you are interested.
