Nancy Magnuson has been College Librarian since 1987. She has degrees in history and library science from the University of Washington in her home town of Seattle. She's an active member of the American Library Association, serves on the management committee of the Maryland Digital Library and was a co-founder of the Baltimore Academic Libraries Consortium. She's also active with the Baltimore Bibliophiles and the Maryland region of the Jane Austen Society of North America. Nancy is currently consumed with the construction of the Goucher Athenaeum, a signature building for the college with the library at its heart.
