Baltimore City Teaching Residency
Baltimore City Teaching Residency is a project run by The New Teacher Project, a non-profit organization committed to increasing the number of exemplary individuals who become public school teachers. Persons from all fields of study are invited to share their knowledge, experiences, and enthusiasm for education in the classrooms of Baltimore City, providing positive role models and inspiration to the lives of children in need. It is preferred for Residents to have little or no teaching experience, but still maintain a drive for success; to display accomplishment in their academic and professional careers; and to desire to give the gift of education and academic achievement to the students of Baltimore City. Accepted candidates will be placed in areas deemed by City Schools to be in the most critical need of educators.
