Student Research - Summer 2008

Goucher students who have spent the summer doing scientific research will present their findings on Friday, July 25, in G59 of the Hoffberger Science Building. Talks will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and from 1-2:45 p.m. All members of the Goucher community are invited to attend.

Growing a Stronger Campus Community

Almost three years after Goucher’s Campus Agricultural Co-op created an herb garden, the space has grown to become a true community garden.

This fall, Goucher embarked on a far-reaching campaign to promote environmental sustainability throughout its academic and co-curricular programs. Though the campaign was truly a community effort, much of the credit should go to seven particular students—Goucher’s environmental leaders.
