Documentation on this page will show you how to run a utility for Windows 9X/ME/2000/XP and Macintosh computers to resolve Internet Protocol (IP) conflicts or if a domain controller cannot be found. An IP conflict occurs when your computer’s network settings are configured incorrectly. Your computer may be trying to use an IP address that another computer on the network is already using. This will result in your Internet not working.
To resolve this problem, your computer needs to get a new, available IP address from the DHCP server. The utilities described in the documentations below tries to extract the right IP configuration from the DHCP server. If you are not able to connect to the Internet after trying to renew the IP address, please call the Information Technology Help Desk at 410.337.6322.
