Connecting Residential Macs to the Network

Students who have a Macintosh computer should be able to get on the network by simply connecting their computer using an Ethernet cable to the jack in the wall of their dorm rooms. No special settings are required for connecting a Macintosh computer to the campus network. However, if you are having problems connecting to the Internet request assistance during the Connection Fair or call the Help Desk after the Connection Fair. Below is a link to download instructions on how to create special Macintosh folders on the network for storing files and documents.
