Assistant Professor of Economics

The Economics Department at Goucher College seeks candidates for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level to begin in Fall 2009. The successful candidate will be expected to teach principles of micro and macro, an elective in environmental and/or international economics, and contribute to college-wide programs. The teaching load is three courses per semester. A Ph.D. in economics must be completed by August 2009 and candidates must be committed to teaching and scholarship in a liberal arts environment. Located in suburban Baltimore, Goucher College is a private selective liberal arts college of about 1,475 students and seeks applications from those who would contribute to the diversity of the campus community.
