Assistant Bursar
Goucher College is seeking a full-time Assistant Bursar to assist the Bursar with undergraduate billing functions. This position is responsible for daily activities including posting of charges, payments, and financial aid; refund processing, reporting, and collections; interacting with students and parents; and assisting the Bursar as needed. Qualified applicants must have an accounting background, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years experience with accounts receivable. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with excellent computer, communication, and customer service skills; able to work in a team environment; and able to work independently. Prior experience in an educational setting and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
