Annual Giving

In honor of Goucher's 125th Anniversary, the Annual Fund has been renamed the Greater Goucher Fund, a term coined in 1921 when a special fundraising campaign was launched to assist the growing college and promote its anticipated move to a new campus.
Alumnae/i, parents, trustees, friends--the Greater Goucher Fund is the tangible result of their common belief in Goucher College. Since the first donations were made nearly 80 years ago, their unrestricted yearly financial support has helped fulfill the ongoing needs of the college.

Gifts to the Greater Goucher Fund benefit current Goucher programs by providing resources not covered by tuition and fees. Because these gifts are unrestricted, the money can be used wherever the need is the greatest, including:
  • Merit and need-based scholarships
  • Faculty salaries
  • Guest lecturers and artists
  • Student and faculty collaboration and research
  • Advancements in technology
  • Improvement of buildings and grounds

No matter who you are or what you value most about the college, there is a way for you to support Goucher.

The Goucher Associates

Recent graduates who manage to give back to their alma mater--despite hectic lives and entry-level pay--are pretty special people. That’s why the college recognizes as Goucher Associates alumnae/i who contribute any amount to the Greater Goucher Fund within their first 10 years after graduation.  Click here to learn more about Goucher Associates.

The Parent Fund

The Parent Fund is an annual drive for unrestricted gifts from parents of alumnae/i and current students. It assists students each and every day by opening doors to scholarships, expanding international opportunities, and supporting other core college programs.  Click here to learn more about the Parent Fund.

The John Franklin and Mary Fisher Goucher Society

The Goucher Society was established to recognize donors whose leadership contributions to the college underwrite the spirit of excellence and innovation that are the hallmarks of a Goucher education.  Click here to learn more about the Goucher Society.
