Reason #6:

Goucher science students are well rounded pursuing a variety of interests outside of the classroom. They are passionate about seeking innovative ways to make a difference in the world.


A Chemistry major gets to enjoy his passion for singing by traveling to other colleges to give concerts with the student run acapella ensemble Red Hot Blue.

 

Science students participate in campus environmental sustainability groups and initiatives. Read "No Apathy Here" from the Goucher Quarterly, Spring 2008.

 


Through her studies in Brazil, a student with majors in Dance and Psychology and a concentration in dance therapy, learned how Brazilian culture incorporates dance and movement into their everyday lives.

 


Students carry out a project to build a ‘green’ garden shed for community garden plots.
