Writing Fellow

Goucher College, a competitive small liberal arts college, is seeking a full-time non tenure-track Writing Fellow to begin Fall 2008. Writing Fellows teach six writing courses a year, primarily freshman composition and, depending on demand, professional writing, intermediate expository prose, linguistics, basic writing, and creative nonfiction. Extensive experience in teaching writing required. M. F. A., or M.A. or Ph.D. in relevant field, required. Continued appointment contingent on annual review.  The successful candidate will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment.
