About the University of Maryland System

UM is a shared catalog which gives access to the holdings of the libraries of the University System of Maryland: thirteen libraries on the campuses of eleven state-supported, four-year colleges and universities. Students, faculty and staff are allowed to borrow books at any of the participating institutions. In order to register at each campus, you will need to have a current campus ID, with a picture or an additional photo ID. Loan periods and rules will vary.
