Three Biology majors from the Class of 2008 (L-R: Jackie Leidig, Christina Belter, Maggie Wood) were inducted into the Goucher chapter of the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa. Membership is awarded to students on the basis of academic integrity, commitment to intellectual pursuits and breadth within their academic program. This is one of the most prestigious awards given to undergraduates in the U.S. and represents a level of academic excellence in Goucher’s science programs that is nationally recognized.
