Goucher College’s Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) invites applications for an English Instructor. The English Instructor will play an integral role in assisting EOP students with their transition to Goucher College by serving as an English Instructor, small class facilitator, and advisor. Responsibilities include teaching developmental and college level courses.
The EOP Program provides access to a Goucher education to first-generation college students from the state of Maryland who find it exceedingly difficult to continue their education because of their financial and educational circumstances. Specifically, the EOP Program identifies promising high school students from underserved educational school systems, and low socio-economic backgrounds in Maryland, who have the potential for succeeding at Goucher. With the class of 2013, Goucher will be welcoming its third EOP cohort of 10 students.
