Part-time Learning Specialist

The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) has a part-time (20 hours per week) position available for a learning specialist. ACE Learning Specialists work with students, one on one, who request assistance in time management and organizational skills, college level study strategies, and all phases of the writing process. Learning Specialists work with all Goucher students who request services, who have documented disabilities, and who may need a different level of services.

A Master’s degree in special education, disabilities, reading education, or related areas and three years experience teaching English, tutoring, working with students with disabilities, and/or working in college learning centers is required.
