Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science
The Department of Political Science and International Relations at Goucher College invites applications for a one-year visiting position in political theory at the rank of assistant professor. The selected candidate will be expected to teach a combination of courses drawn from classical, modern, and contemporary theory, in addition to other courses in his/her area of research. The teaching load is three courses per semester. A Ph.D. at the time of appointment is preferred. Other requirements include evidence of teaching experience and ability, and a commitment to undergraduate teaching.
Goucher College, located on a 287-acre campus near Baltimore and an hour’s drive from Washington, D.C., is a private liberal arts college of approximately 1,475 undergraduate students.
