Extravaganza: An International Talent and Fashion Show

The Goucher community is invited to celebrate its members’ native traditions and the cultures they have embraced while studying abroad at “Extravaganza: An International Talent and Fashion Show.”  This event will be held on Thursday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. in Heubeck Multipurpose Room.

“Extravaganza” will include music, dance, and other creative presentations that students, faculty, and staff will share from their diverse backgrounds and experiences.

The event will also include an international fashion show, flag procession, and a reception of global cuisine that will be held during intermission. Bon Appétit, Goucher’s food services provider, as well as individual Goucher students, faculty, and staff will provide food for the reception. 

Both the talent and fashion show will feature many cultures, including traditions from Cuba, Croatia, India, Israel, Italy, France, Germany, Greece, Russia, Spain, and Ukraine.

This program is sponsored by the Language House, the Office of Community Living and Multicultural Affairs, and the Student Activities Office.
