Webmaster
Goucher College seeks a Webmaster to manage all content, design, and web application development of www.goucher.edu and related web properties. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Webmaster provides all campus departments with support, training, and strategy initiatives pertaining to web development, marketing, and content management. The successful candidate will also manage event registration systems and bulk e-mail communications, serve as web development consultant to the entire Goucher community, and plan broad internet marketing and research strategies. He or she must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects as well as regular maintenance issues.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and five years of experience as a webmaster or manager of internet communications. The successful candidate should have working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, MS IIS, MS SQL, (X)HTML, JavaScript/DHTML/AJAX, ColdFusion (or similar scripting language), XML, XSL, Ingeniux (or similar web content management system), and Adobe Acrobat, Flash, and Photoshop. Familiarity with MS Sharepoint, LAMP, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Search Appliance, and ASP(X) is a plus.
