Public Safety Officer
Full-time position available for public safety officer on college campus. Responsibilities include vehicular and foot patrol, as well as desk and gate operations. Position requires a flexible work schedule for all shifts, including holiday and weekend work hours. Core hours are 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with required overtime and temporary assignment to other shifts. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalency and a minimum of two years security experience, or a combination of experience and higher education. Training in community crime prevention preferred. Must possess knowledge of criminal and civil law and police practices, have a valid driver's license, and successfully undergo a criminal background check, driving record check, and a physical examination.
