Assistant Director of Financial Aid (10 month position)
Goucher College is seeking a full-time employee to serve in the Office of Student Financial Aid. The successful candidate will demonstrate progressive experience in higher education, and possess superior computer technology skills, strong analytical and organizational skills, effective communication skills, an attention to detail, and knowledge of student aid programs. During peak periods, the successful candidate will meet with prospective and current families and students on a walk-in basis, as well as answer questions about the financial aid process and financing options. Other responsibilities include maintaining area policies and procedures, and representing Goucher at on and off campus events. Qualified applicants will be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly (Powerfaids, Powercampus). Knowledge of SQL programming is desired.
