Sanitation Operator
Goucher College has an immediate opening for a full-time Sanitation Operator. This is a highly customer service oriented position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: removal of all solid waste and recycling materials from campus buildings to appropriate locations on campus for removal by Refuse Company; collecting and carrying out trash; work on exteriors of campus buildings in all weather conditions; sweeping and/or shoveling snow from steps and/or walkways at entrances to buildings and spreading snow salt as needed; and, performing any additional job assignments as they relate to campus facilities. The successful candidate must be able to operate a stake body truck and hydraulic compactor. One year custodial experience and a valid Maryland driver’s license are required.
