Financial aid matters.

As an international student, you're not eligible for U.S. government assistance. However, Goucher College offers institutional merit-based scholarships and, on a limited basis, institutional need-based grants to assist with tuition costs.  The average financial aid package (including scholarships and need-based grants) for an admitted international applicant to Goucher was $21,707.

The total annual costs of attending Goucher College for 2011-12 are outlined as follows.  This is a general guideline and is not legally binding:

Tuition and Fees: $36,012
Room and Board on campus: $10,568
Student Fees: $542
Total for 2011-12: $47,122

International students are limited to a maximum of $24,000 of funding from Goucher.  This includes need-based and merit-based scholarships.  In order for us to sponsor your education, you need to secure at least $23,775 in funding for 2010-11.  You are required to demonstrate your financial support by submitting a Declaration of Finances (PDF), along with a letter of support from your family and accompanying bank statements.

To apply for need-based international student financial aid, please complete the CSS PROFILE, a College Board-developed financial aid application that has recently been adapted for use by international students.
