Goucher College is a growing community of about 1,450 undergraduates, located on a sprawling 287-acre campus just north of Baltimore, Maryland. At Goucher, you'll be close to downtown Baltimore's wide array of social, cultural, and educational opportunities, including museums, historic sites, major-league sporting events, cultural festivals, concerts, theatres, clubs, galleries, and shops. And we're within easy reach of New York City (about three hours away by train) and Washington, D.C. (about an hour).

Almost everything else you'll need is nearby. Goucher's campus is within walking distance of Towson, a bustling college town that features an eight-screen movie theatre, a rock club, restaurants, bars, clothing boutiques, book and music stores, and seasonal street festivals and farmer's markets. Banks, supermarkets, post offices, and other essentials are also close by. And we're right next door to the Towson Town Center, one of the largest shopping malls in the Baltimore area.

If city life isn't for you, you'll also be perfectly situated to take advantage of nearby national parks, and the campus's four miles of wooded trails are perfect for hiking, running, biking, and horseback riding.
