Technology Coordinator (Part-time)
Goucher College has an immediate opening for a part-time Technology Coordinator for Distance Learning. Reporting to the Director of Educational Technology and Distance Learning, this position supports faculty and students teaching and learning at a distance. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to help with training faculty to teach online, supervise and ensure accuracy of course contents in Blackboard, and ensure course availability for instructors in Blackboard. The successful candiadate will also help develop web-based and computer-based modules for training purposes, participate in online course design, and share development responsibilities for expanding distance education possibilities to other programs. Qualified applicants must have a Master’s Degree in instructional design or a related field and must be familiar with distance education issues, curriculum development, web-based training, Microsoft Office Suite Applications, and adult education strategies.
