Sabbatical Replacement, Philosophy
Goucher College invites applications for a one-year, sabbatical replacement position at the assistant professor level beginning in September 2008. AOS: Feminism and 20th Century Continental Philosophy. AOC: Critical Race Theory and/or Feminist Science Studies. Ph.D. prior to appointment is required. Candidates with a strong background in the history of western philosophy as it extends through the continental tradition are preferred. Evidence of excellence in teaching required. We are a small, dynamic undergraduate department in a liberal arts college with an excellent record of placing majors in graduate philosophy programs.
