Assistant Professor, Mathematics/Computer Science
Goucher College is seeking an assistant professor of mathematics/computer science for Fall 2008. This is a one-year appointment, renewable for up to two additional years. Ph.D. in mathematics or computer science required, with the ability to teach in both fields desirable. Qualified applicants will possess a commitment to excellence in teaching; the ability to teach a wide variety of courses and conduct a research program; and a commitment to fostering research by undergraduates. Our course offerings range from introductory courses, major and non-major alike, through senior-level special topics courses for majors. Course assignments will accommodate the strengths of department faculty and the successful applicant. Deadline for applications is January 2, 2008.
