Assistant Professor of Economics

The Economics Department at Goucher College seeks candidates for a tenure track position at the assistant professor level to begin in Fall 2008. The successful candidate will be expected to teach principles of economics, an elective in environmental or international economics, and contribute to college-wide programs. The teaching load is three courses per semester.

Requirements include a Ph.D. in economics to be completed by August 2008. Candidates must be committed to teaching and scholarship in a liberal arts environment. Goucher College has recently made a renewed commitment to international, intercultural, and environmental issues. Applicants should have an interest in one or more of these areas.
