For Parents

Congratulations on your student's interest in an international opportunity.  We hope that you find the information on our web site helpful.  Goucher is committed to ensuring that all students have access to a diverse array of international opportunities.

We invite all students to visit our office, browse our resources, and meet with us in both group and individual settings.  OIS sponsors a number of information sessions on campus, which we invite students to attend.  We also hold additional events throughout the year to provide information to students, and we encourage them to share this information with their loved ones.

The study abroad process can sometimes seem overwhelming.  We invite you to visit the sections of our web site that explain program options, financial matters, and scholarship opportunities

We invite you to explore our web site, read about other Goucher students' experiences, and to talk with your student about study abroad.  Encourage him or her to visit the Office of International Studies as a first step towards a rewarding international experience.
