How to Connect to the Wireless Network

The Information Technology department upgraded the wireless network over the summer to make the process of connecting more efficient.  You will no longer need to provide your computer’s wireless MAC address to the Help Desk to connect to the network. However, you will need to log into the new gopherwireless network using your Goucher username and password.  We have provided simple, step-by-step instructions on how to connect using some of the top name brand wireless cards for PCs and connecting on a Mac.  If you do not see your brand listed or need further assistance please contact the Help Desk.

Please note that connecting to gouchervisitor only allows you to connect to the Internet.  You will not be able to connect to the network.  Once you are connected to gouchervisitor, you must open a web browser in order to register your email address before you can browse the Internet.
